In math we are currently working on patterns and story problems.  You can help your child through this unit by showing some patterns and asking them to continue the pattern.

In reading we are currently working on fluency and other reading skills.  While reading with your child at home please ask questions as you read to enhance their comprehension.

About me!  I have been teaching for 11 years.  I have been at Johnnycake for  5 years.  First grade is my favorite grade to teach.  I love to see the growth as the students grasp new learning.
