Mission Statement

At Johnnycake we believe that all children can and will learn.
We pledge to provide consistent effective instruction to all children
using a holistic, balanced approach which includes:  high expectations,
clear data-driven goals, opportunities for application or knowledge,
collaboration among the community members and time for reflection,
review and renewal.  We believe it is our responsibility to provide
focused instruction in a safe, warm, respectful, and caring environment
where children and adults alike feel free to take the risks necessary
to become independent, life-long learners.
